John’s Fish Market was established in 1949 and is 4th generation family owned. The market was originally located at “five corners” in Vineyard Haven and is just a short drive from its original location today. We prepare our signature dishes in-house and pay special attention to detail using time honored tradition with modern flair.  
We take pride in serving the freshest fish and source local whenever possible, which ensures the shortest distance from the ocean to your plate!
For over 75 years locals and vacationers alike have been trusting John’s Fish Market for the finest fish & shellfish the North Atlantic has to offer!
We regularly stock swordfish, tuna, fluke, flounder, halibut, salmon, stripped bass, sea bass, blue fish, red snapper, mahi mahi, haddock, pollock, sole, bonito & other locally sourced fish species! We also carry a variety of shrimp & squid! We carry a variety of shellfish sourced from regional fishermen including lobster, quahogs, soft shell crab, steamers,  mussels, oysters & more! We make clam cakes, cod cakes, mango salsa, spicy Asian noodles, a variety of fish pates, smoked fish & more all in house!
